The introduction of digital technology makes a series of agricultural activities such as perception, analysis, decision-making and execution smarter, bringing both efficiency and quality improvements to agricultural production.

 

 

The research and development and application of artificial intelligence in agriculture started back in the early part of this century, which includes intelligent robots for ploughing, sowing and picking, as well as intelligent identification systems for probing the soil, detecting pests and diseases, and early warning of climatic disasters. These applications are helping us to increase output and improve efficiency while reducing the use of pesticides and fertilisers. Agricultural AI is the integration of a variety of information technologies and their cross-application in the agricultural field, and its technological scope covers intelligent perception, intelligent equipment, expert systems, and the Internet of Things (IoT). Intelligent sensing technology is the basis of agricultural artificial intelligence, and its technical field covers sensors, data analysis and modelling, mapping technology and remote sensing technology. Intelligent sensing technology, under the macro-control of the Internet of Things, can make corresponding perceptions of the environmental needs of different crops according to the characteristics of the current agricultural planting, which can effectively improve the planting efficiency and increase the yield through intelligent monitoring. Intelligent sensing technology in the field of agriculture can achieve soil detection, yield prediction, pest and disease protection, plant imaging, fruit defect detection, pig face recognition and other functions.

The application of artificial intelligence technology in the field of agriculture is bound to be a big development trend in the future. With the continuous development of artificial intelligence technology, the construction of China's modern agriculture is also bound to move forward, and the degree of application of various technologies in artificial intelligence in the field of agriculture will continue to deepen, promoting the realisation of smart agriculture. Accelerating the application of artificial intelligence and other modern information technologies in agriculture is an urgent need for the development of modern agriculture, and is also conducive to the promotion of the national rural revitalisation strategy, the construction of digital villages and the development of smart agriculture. With the development of artificial intelligence technology in China, the application of intelligent technology in agricultural machinery is becoming more and more widespread, and the automation of agricultural machinery is becoming more and more advanced, laying the foundation for large-scale agricultural production in China. Artificial intelligence is not only promising in theory, but has also demonstrated its great potential in practice. From the automatic environmental regulation of greenhouses to the realisation of precision agriculture, from the optimisation of supply chain management to the guarantee of global food security, the application of AI in agriculture is constantly unfolding a new chapter. In the future, with the further development of science and technology, we can look forward to a smarter, more efficient and sustainable agricultural production and management system. We will enrich the research in the field of agricultural machinery automation and intelligence, promote the upgrading of China's agricultural machinery and equipment, and facilitate the development of agricultural production.
